Choir members of both St. Bridget and St. Thomas came together under the directorship of Lewis Archer to provide festive and joyous music at both parishes’ Christmas Eve Mass.

Our Knights of Columbus sponsored a float in the Annual Saraland Christmas Parade and many of our parish children participated. Both the children and the parent volunteers had a great time.

Thank you to all those who came out to help make our Sweet Celebration of Advent a huge success. Our parish family’s children enjoyed fun activities, crafts, treats and watching the Polar Express. A special visit from the Polar Express Train Conductor and St. Nicholas made the event even more enjoyable.

The KOC Ladies Auxiliary held a Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction benefiting St. Thomas the Apostle’s Legacy Building Fund. It was a great success.

In the spirit of this months’ holiday our Religious Education students took some time to talk about and reflect on what they were thankful for this year. They were given a feather to write what they were thankful for on one side and made colorful feathers on the other side. Each feather was then added to our “Turkey on the Table.”
Celebrating All Saints Day, 10/30/2022
Our Religious Education classes learned about, discussed and some even dressed up as saints during their class time. They also learned about the Catholic roots of All Hallows Eve. This was enjoyed by teachers and students alike and we hope to make this a tradition – celebrating our Catholic History and all the saints.
St. Francis is known for his love of all animals, and how he spoke to the animals and blessed them. In honor of the feast day, Tuesday, Oct. 4th, 2022, a few families gathered at St. Thomas the Apostle in his honor to have their pets blessed.
September 25th, 2022 The parish hosted a luncheon to celebrate and honor their parish’s public, private & CCD teachers and all school employees who dedicate their time and talents in the field of educating and supporting children.
September 11, 2022 – First day of our Religious Education class (CCD) was a huge success. Looks like we are going to have a fun year.
August 2022 -Fr. Saucier blessing St. Thomas the Apostle’s Religious Education classrooms in preparation for classes, beginning September 11th.
May 7, 2022 – The St. Thomas the Apostle parish community would like to congratulate the children who received their Sacrament of First Holy Communion. Thank you to their Religious Education teacher who did a wonderful job preparing the children for their special day.
St. Thomas the Apostle celebrated Mother’s Day weekend with the Crowning of Our Mother Mary. This year a first communicant and her mother were chosen and crowned the Our Lady of Fatima statue.
