The institution of the Blessed Sacrament was the consummation of the stupendous series of God\u2019s merciful dispensations to His fallen creatures, for Christ came \u2018to seek and to save that which was lost\u2019 by giving Himself to man. The end of His Passion, death, and glorification in our nature was that He might forever dwell in His Mystical Body, and therefore in us, members of that Mystical Body, the Church.\u201d (John A.
