Our Knights of Columbus sponsored a float in the Annual Saraland Christmas Parade and many of our parish children participated. Both the children\u00a0and the parent volunteers had a great time.<\/p>\n

Thank you to all those who came out to help make our Sweet Celebration of Advent a huge success. Our parish family’s children enjoyed fun\u00a0activities, crafts, treats and watching the Polar Express. In the spirit of this months’ holiday our Religious Education students took some time to talk about and reflect on what they were thankful for this year. They were given a feather to write what they were thankful for on one side and made colorful feathers on the\u00a0other side. Each feather was then added to our “Turkey on the Table.”<\/p>\n

Our Religious Education classes learned about, discussed and some even dressed up as saints during their class time. They also learned about the Catholic roots of All Hallows Eve. This was enjoyed by teachers and students alike and we hope to make this a tradition – celebrating our Catholic History and all the saints.<\/p>\n

May 7, 2022 – The St. Thomas the Apostle parish community would like to congratulate the children who received their Sacrament of\u00a0First Holy Communion.\u00a0 Thank you to their\u00a0Religious Education teacher who did a wonderful job preparing the children for their special day.<\/p>\n
St. Thomas the Apostle celebrated Mother’s Day weekend with the Crowning of Our Mother Mary. This year a first communicant and her mother were chosen and crowned the Our Lady of Fatima statue.\u00a0<\/p>\n
